Boskoops Glory

Boskoops glory is a Dutch, very resistant variety that is descended from the wild grape Vitis labrusca American. In Boskoops glory is a plant that was in the 1950s in an attempt to field at Wageningen with American vines. It is therefore considered that there is a spontaneous crossing of two previously unknown species of the field. This strain is usually in late August or early September, ripe and resistant to fungal diseases and frost. Your taste is very fragrant sweet and juicy. Gerard van Tol from Boskoop cared about the commercialization of the variety, which has since been in the Netherlands for most popular domestic table grape. Since 1979 the variety by Günther Pfeiffer became popular, it has been touted as a high-quality variety in various garden posts. Distribution in Germany has mainly in North Rhine -Westphalia for the lover cultivation.

  • The drum-shaped bunch is medium, and loose- winged. The roundish berries are medium in size and of a bluish- black color. The berries are juicy and have a slight Fox sound.
