Bottmersdorf is a district of the city Wanzleben flip-off crimp in the district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Bottmersdorf is located at Bode Creek Sarre, between the towns Wanzleben and leeches, about 15 km southwest of Magdeburg. The south of the district borders the Bottmersdorf Salzlandkreis.

History

Written evidence of the existence provides a document from the year 889, another record comes from a Lehnbuch 1244. Therein, the place is called Botmestrop.

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Bottmersdorf, Domersleben, Three Lives, Eggenstedt, United Rodensleben, Hohendodeleben, Small Rodensleben and the cities of Seehausen and Wanzleben merged to form the new city Wanzleben - beading.
