Botuverá

Botuverá is a small town in the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil.

The city is situated near Brusque. It has 3536 inhabitants (2006) to 303.023 km ². In the municipality the 1844 hectare nature reserve Reserva Biológica Estadual da Canela is Preta. Botuverá is famous for its ancient cave with more than 20 m high stone columns and more than 400 meters underground passages.
