Boubacar Talatou

Boubacar Talatou ( born December 3, 1987 in Niamey ) is a Nigerien footballer.

Talatou which is active as a midfielder, played since 2007 for the Niger club AS GNN. In 2009, he was the center of a scandal when he should attend for the Nigerien U-17 national soccer team at the U-17 African Cup of Nations and it turned out that he was not, as stated, 17 years, but already 22 years old was. The African Football Association Confederation Africaine de Football disqualified the team then from participating in the championship. Shortly thereafter, the President of the Nigerien soccer federation Fédération de football Amadou Diallo Nigérienne and Sports Minister Abdoul Ramane Seydou resigned. In the season 2010/11 Talatou joined the Gabonese club AS MangaSport. For the following season, he moved to South Africa where he played for Orlando Pirates. Since 2012 he is at AmaZulu Durban under contract.

In 2010, he was first appointed to the Niger national football team, with whom he also took part in the African Nations Cup 2013.
