Boulet (comics)

Gilles Roussel, also known as Boulet, ( born 1 February 1975 in Meaux, France ) is a French comic book writer.

Biography

After studying at the art academies of Dijon and Strasbourg Gilles Roussel had his first success as a comic book writer for the magazine Tchô! . He also belongs to the Author solid trunk of the journal Titeuf.

In 2001 he published his first series " Raghnarok " followed by La Rubrique scientifique, Le Miya and Womoks (along with Reno ).

Since 2004 Boulet also published a comic blog which about 30,000 daily visitors has. 2006 asked Lewis Trondheim and Joann Sfar Boulet to draw two episodes of the cartoon series Donjon. In Trondheim series Shampooing (published by Delcourt ) also specimens of the blog vintages of Boulet appear under the title of Notes in book form.

Gilles Roussel lives in Paris.
