Bovernier

Bovernier ( German name: Birnier ) is a municipality in the district of Martigny in the French speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

Geography

Bovernier is located south of Martigny and consists of the two settlements Bovernier and Les Valettes on the pass road to the Great St Bernard. The neighboring communities of Bovernier are in the north of Martigny, in the northeast Vollèges, in the east Sembrancher, in the south west in Martigny -Combe Orsières.
