Bowang District

Bowang (Chinese博望 区, pinyin Bowang Qū ) is a district of the Chinese city of Ma'anshan in Anhui Province. It was created on September 5, 2012 by separation of three large municipalities from district Dangtu. Bowang has an area of 351 km ² and around 183,500 inhabitants ( end of 2010).

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, Bowang is composed of three major communities. These are:

  • Greater community Bowang (博望 镇), the seat of government of the municipality;
  • Greater community Danyang (丹阳 镇);
  • Greater community Xinshi (新市镇).
