Boyd Gaines

Boyd Payne Gaines ( born May 11, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American theater, film and television actor.

Gaines has appeared in several films and television series, as in Fame - The path to glory, LA Law, Law & Order and One Day at a Time (together with Valerie Bertinelli ). Gaines is also a well-known television, audio books and voice actor in the United States.

For his theater work on Broadway, he has not won four Tony Awards. He is so far the only one who managed to be nominated in all four acting categories of the Tony Awards. To have won in all, it only lacks an award for Best Actor in a play.
