Boyko

Boyko ( Bojki, Polish Bojkowie ) are the members of a living in the Westbeskiden group of Ukrainians. They live mainly in eastern Poland Nowy Sacz in the circles ( Nowy Sacz ), Jasło and Sanok and in Western Ukraine and talk to a Slovak influences betraying Ukrainian dialect.

In the Brockhaus encyclopaedia from 1894 it says the area settled in the Boyko: The resident in the Galician Carpathian Ruthenian highlanders of the sources of the San Lomnica to be called ... Boyko.
