Božo Škerlj

Bozo Škerlj ( born September 8, 1904 in Vienna, † November 10, 1961 in Ljubljana) was a Yugoslav anthropologist.

Life

Bozo Škerlj studied biology and geography at the University of Ljubljana and received his PhD in 1927 in Prague. In 1933 he was a lecturer in physical anthropology at the University of Ljubljana. 1936 to 1938 he was editor of the magazine Evgenika. From 1943 he was interned in the concentration camp Dachau. In 1946 he became an associate in 1953 full professor at the University of Ljubljana.
