The airfield Bragança (Portuguese Aeródromo Municipal de Bragança ) is the largest and most important airport in the northeastern Portuguese region of Trás -os- Montes. He is about 10 km north from the city of Bragança and is next to the Montesinho National Park. The Portuguese regional airline " AeroVip " currently serves the airport twice a day with the cities of Lisbon and Vila Real. Special flights to cities in France are also offered mainly in the summer season and holiday periods. The airfield is currently managed by the city of Bragança.

2009, a master plan for the expansion of infrastructure, entitled " Regional airport Bragança " was presented. The project includes plans to extend the start and runway from 1700 to 2300 meters, to aircraft that can carry up to 150 passengers (about the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 ) to include, as well as the construction of a new passenger terminal, the annual be able to handle 40,000 passengers.
