Brasilsat B1

Launched in 1994 Brasilsat B1 is a former broadcast satellite of the Brazilian telecommunications company Embratel. As of December 2000, the newly formed subsidiary Star One was responsible for the operation.

Reception

Brasilsat B1 could across America except Alaska, as well as the Iberian Peninsula and northwest Africa are received. The transfer was performed in the C- band. In December 2010, the satellite was put into the graveyard orbit.
