The Isla Brasilera ( Portuguese name: Ilha Brasileira ) is a river island in South America.

The island is located in the area of the confluence of the Uruguay River and the Río Cuareim on the border of the states of Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, north of the city of Bella Unión. She is still the subject of so far unresolved border dispute between Uruguay and Brazil.

From the Brazilian perspective, the island belongs to the municipality ( municipio ) Barra do Quaraí, the most western municipality of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. From Uruguayan view it belongs to the city of Bella Unión ( district Franquia ) in the department of Artigas, the northernmost county of Uruguay.

The island is inhabited only by an approximately eight-member Brazilian family that runs a farm.
