Breezanddijk

Breezanddijk is a Dutch hamlet on Rijksweg 7 ( European Route 22) approximately in the middle of the final dike between the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea and belonged to the municipality Wûnseradiel that has risen on 1 January 2011 in the new community Súdwest - Fryslân. The district is located on the former artificial island Breezand which was filled to build the IJsselmeer dam and is located about 12 kilometers from the Frisian coast.

In 2009, four people were registered as residents here. The hamlet consists of a single building with the address Afsluitdijk 1 It is a gas station. This can be achieved via a bridge and from the opposite lane of the motorway. Breezandijk is the smallest inhabited place in the Netherlands with its own zip code.

On both sides of the dam are located at this point port facilities.
