Bregana

Bregana is a town in northern Croatia, which belongs to the town of Samobor. It is located about 12 km north-west of Zagreb. According to the 2001 census, there live 2528 inhabitants.

Traffic

In Bregana is the border crossing Bregana - Obrezje. It connects Croatia with Slovenia. From 2004 to Croatia's EU accession on 1 July 2013 he was the EU's external border. In addition, he is the most famous and busiest border crossing in Croatia. Especially in summer, caused traffic jams of more than 5 kilometers in length. The border crossing is the starting point of the A3, the second longest Croatian motorway which leads in turn to Serbia.
