Breitlingsee

The Breitlingsee is the largest waters of Lake District in the west of the city of Brandenburg. It has an area of 513 ha through the islands Kiehnwerder and groynes Werder is separated from the Breitlingsee Moser 's Lake and from Lake Plau. On the south shore of the lake, the railway route Brandenburg- Magdeburg runs. Behind it is a large forest and heathland, a popular recreation area. The place Malge on the southern shore of the lake is a place for excursions and water sports base.

The island Kiehnwerder is a conservation area, is located on a camping her. The island is part of the groynes Werder nature reserve groynes Werder Wusterau.
