Brenton Thwaites

Brenton Thwaites (* 1989 in Cairns, Queensland) is an Australian actor.

Life

Thwaites was born in Cairns, Queensland. He has a sister named Stacy. He attended the Cairns State High School in Far North Queensland, where he made his degree in 2006. Then he studied until 2010 drama at the Queensland University of Technology. Because of its role in Home and Away, he moved to Sydney.

Career

Prior to his studies at the Queensland University of Technology Thwaites began his acting career in the independent film Charge Over You. After graduation, he landed a guest appearance on Sea Patrol. In November 2010 he received the lead role of Luke Gallagher in the television series FOX8 Slide. However, the show was canceled after one season due to poor ratings. His breakthrough in Australia he created the role of Stu Henderson in the soap opera Home and Away. In this role, he was seen between 23 August 2011 and March 5, 2012, before his character died in the Serientod.

In February 2012, The Daily Telegraph announced that Thwaites the male lead in the remake of The Blue Lagoon, Blue Lagoon: hopelessly in love, got. The film was broadcast in June 2012 on Lifetime Television. 2014 he will be seen alongside Angelina Jolie in Maleficent.
