Brett Holman ( born March 27, 1984 in Bankstown ) is an Australian football player.
Career
Association
Holman began his career in 2001 at Parramatta Power, a club in the National Soccer League. For the season 2002/ 03 he was obliged by the Dutch giants Feyenoord. Feyenoord borrowed Holman in the first season to be a farm team, Excelsior Rotterdam, where he remained until 2006. For the 2006/07 season he was engaged by NEC Nijmegen. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved for the transfer fee of three million Euros for AZ Alkmaar, with whom he was in the same season by Dutch masters.
National
On 22 February 2006 Holman made his debut for the Australian national football team in qualifying for the Asian Cup against Bahrain. Since then, he ran to a total of 63 times for the Socceroos, but he scored nine goals.
