Brett Holman ( born March 27, 1984 in Bankstown ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Association

Holman began his career in 2001 at Parramatta Power, a club in the National Soccer League. For the season 2002/ 03 he was obliged by the Dutch giants Feyenoord. Feyenoord borrowed Holman in the first season to be a farm team, Excelsior Rotterdam, where he remained until 2006. For the 2006/07 season he was engaged by NEC Nijmegen. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved for the transfer fee of three million Euros for AZ Alkmaar, with whom he was in the same season by Dutch masters.

National

On 22 February 2006 Holman made ​​his debut for the Australian national football team in qualifying for the Asian Cup against Bahrain. Since then, he ran to a total of 63 times for the Socceroos, but he scored nine goals.
