Brian Augustyn

Brian Augustyn ( born November 2, 1954) is an American comic book writer and editor.

Life and work

Augustyn began in the late 1980s to work as an editor and writer for the American publisher DC Comics. In the early 1990s, he took over the editorial supervision of such series as The Flash, and Justice League Dark Stars and different series of line! Mpact Comics.

As the author wrote Augustyn such works as the graphic novel Batman: Gotham by Gaslight or the series The Flash, Imperial Guard, Out There, Crimson and Mega Man. Frequently he worked there with Mark Waid together as co-author.

For his work Augustyn in 1994 awarded the Wizard Fan Award as the most popular editor. Currently Augustyn works as Managing Editor for the Visionary Comics Studio.
