Brian Bates (psychologist)

Brian Bates ( born November 3, 1944) is a British psychologist.

Life

Bates was born in England and grew up there. Today he lives in the rural area of ​​Sussex in southern England. Bates studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and in Oregon. He worked as a behavioral scientist at the Stanford Research Institute and at Cambridge University. He is a professor of psychology at the University of Brighton and directs the Center for Shamanism at the University of Sussex.
