Brian Bliss

Brian Bliss ( born September 28, 1965 in Webster, New York ) is a retired American soccer player who is currently working as a football coach.

Bliss came in 1991 from the Albany Capitals over Energie Cottbus to Chemnitz FC, ​​for whom he played twelve games in the 2nd Bundesliga. From there, he moved in 1992 to FC Carl Zeiss Jena, for whom he played until 1996 ( in between he was also at FSV Kölleda ). Then he went back to America, where he was until 1998 still active as a player for the Columbus Crew, the MetroStars and the Kansas City Wizards.

Bliss played 44 games for the U.S. national team and came at the 1990 World Cup to use one. Currently, Bliss has worked as Technical Director at Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer.
