Brian Godding

Brian Godding ( born August 19, 1945 in Wales ) is a British guitarist in rock music and jazz fusion.

Life and work

Godding grew up in London. He first played with bassist Brian Belshaw in The Grave Diggers and The Ingoes and became acquainted with the Blossom Toes (also BB Blunder ) and as a companion to its sister Julie Driscoll (1969). He then played in Keith Tippett's full-size band project Centipede and worked again with Mike Westbrook ( Solid Gold Cadillac 1973 On Duke's Birthday 1984, Off Abbey Road 1990), but in 1974 and 1975 also at Magma, then Annette Peacock. Together with Kevin Coyne he wrote at the beginning of the 1980s a number of songs; In 1984 he worked with Eric Burdon. In 1990 he founded with Chris Biscoe, Tony Marsh and Marcio Mattos Full Monte.

Godding is married to Angie Driscoll.
