Brian Lopes

Brian Thomas Lopes ( born September 6, 1971) is a professional mountain biker from Mission Viejo, California.

As a child, Lopes began BMX racing. At 17, he turned pro and spent seven years BMX Pro Class drivers. Since 1993 he runs a professional mountain bike, where he focuses on the disciplines of dual and 4 Cross. With a total of six World Cup victories and four world titles he won numerous other major races and was nine times national champion. Brian Lopes won the 2000 and the 2001 World Extreme Sports Awards for " Mountain Biker of the Year" and was nominated for the MTB Hall of Fame.
