Brian Maisonneuve

Brian Maisonneuve ( born June 28, 1973 in Warren, Michigan ) is a former American football player who played as a defensive midfielder for the Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer ( MLS).

Maisonneuve played from childhood football. At Indiana University, he became an important player guiding and shot many goals for his team.

Since 1996 he plays for Columbus Crew in the MLS. So far, he has played 189 professional games for the club, scoring 23 goals and.

In 1996 he played at the Summer Olympic Games for the United States. A short time later he was A-National player.

He participated in the 1998 World Cup, and played 13 international matches for the USA. Before the season in 2000, he suffered a series of ankle injuries that forced him to suspend the season and threw him far back in his career.
