Brian Vandborg

Brian Bach Vandborg ( born December 4, 1981 in Herning ) is a former Danish racing cyclist.

Vandborg won the 2002 and 2003 in the U23 class Danish Champion title in individual time trial on the road. In 2004, he was the Danish team CSC professional. In 2005 his first professional success he achieved with a stage win in the Tour de Georgia in the United States. The rest of the season he was plagued by injury. His greatest sporting success came to him in 2006 at the time trial of the road world championships in Salzburg when he took fourth place and only by 3 seconds missed a podium finish. End of the 2013 season, he finished his career. In the last year of his career, he was Danish Champion in the time trial of the elite and was able to repeat his success from the year 2006.
