Brian Wittman

Brian Lee Wittman (* June 30, 1951 ) is an American music instrument makers from Maui, Hawaii. He is the inventor of the Xaphoon ( also known as Maui Xaphoon Bamboo Sax Saxophone and bags known), which he developed in the early 1970s and was granted a patent in 1972.

As a singer, saxophonist, and steel pan player, he heads the Brian ( " Papa B. " ) Wittman & the Cool Steel Band.
