Briana Scurry

Briana Scurry ( born September 7, 1971 in Minneapolis ) is a former American football player. She played on the position of goalkeeper.

Briana Scurry was since the mid-1990s to 2007 strain goalkeeper of the U.S. women's national team. She participated in the Women's World Championships 1995 ( Third Place ), 1999 (title) and 2003 (third place) in part. Add to that the participation in the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 ( gold medal ), 2000 in Sydney ( silver medal ) and 2004 in Athens ( gold medal ). She denied 173 international matches, as many as any other goalkeeper. Your last match they played on 5 November 2008 against South Korea.
