Brickaville

Ampasimanolotra, formerly Brickaville, is a small village in the region Atsinanana (formerly Toamasina province ) in Madagascar. Ampasimanolotra lies on both sides of the Rianila underflow immediately below the mouth of the Rongaronga in the riparian lowlands on the east coast between Toamasina and Mananjary. The name goes back to Charles Bricka who has used during the French colonial period as an administrative clerk for the very railway construction.
