Bright Automotive
Bright Automotive is a start-up company of the Rocky Mountain Institute. The seat is located in Anderson, Indiana. The company develops, among others, a van with hybrid drive, which is to be produced in series from 2013. Bright is also led by entrepreneurs, which offers solutions to overcome the challenges associated with air pollution, global warming and dwindling oil reserves. The company owns 100 percent of the company Bright eSolutions, which specializes in development, design and production of battery technology. The U.S. carmaker General Motors has acquired a corporate participation in August 2010.
