Brisbane (lunar crater)

Brisbane is an impact crater in the southern part of the Moon front, southwest of Mare Australe, south of the crater Peirescius and west of Lyot. The rim is moderately eroded, the interior mostly flat with a small central peak.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astronomer Thomas Brisbane.
