Brisbane Roar FC W-League

The Brisbane Roar Women are an Australian women's football team from Brisbane, Queensland. The professional team was founded in 2008 and plays in the W-League, the highest level of female football league in the country. History

2008/ 09 - Team Foundation and first season

In 2008, the Australian football federation ( FFA) founded the Professional Women's Soccer League W-League. At that time was called the Brisbane Roar FC still Queensland Roar FC.
