Broadcast Film Critics Association

The Broadcast Film Critics Association ( BFCA abbreviated ) is the largest association of film critics in the United States and Canada, representing more than 250 critics from film, television and radio. The association was founded in 1995 by Joey Berlin and Rod Lurie and gives since the annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards to honor the best films from the perspective of critics.

2011 was founded as an offshoot of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association ( abbreviated BTJA ), the Critics' Choice Television Awards awards since then annually for the best television series.
