Criticism

"It would have been easy to think about the rules of the religious man, the anachronistic and sometimes must also occur little socially modern Europeans, just funny. Wolfgang Panzer succeeds the unexpected: almost surreptitiously, this monk begins along with his awkward unbearable, his brave adherence to His commandments and rituals, the audience to grow with his childish piety and his astonished awakening in the world to my heart. Fried's odyssey becomes an educational trip as you have never seen them in the movies. Broken Silence is not good and also not a religious film - he tells the story of socialization. Much time and long distances requires the monk to find out from his self-centeredness. That he sometimes gives it a ridiculous figure, he begins to suspect; he takes it with dignity. "
