Michael Moriarty
Michael Moriarty ( born April 5, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American film and theater actor and screenwriter and writer.
Biography
Michael Moriarty, was born as the only child of the Detroit Medical Examiner Dr. George Moriarty and the housewife Eleanor Paul, a native of North Dakota. He spent his school days at Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills and later at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. He studied drama until 1963 at Dartmouth College in Hanover (New Hampshire ), ( one of his classmates was the actor Stephen Macht ) and then received a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Both in numerous plays - especially Shakespeare performances - as well as feature films should be involved, including the In 1977 miniseries Holocaust Moriarty - The history of the White family in which he played the fictional character of the SS lawyers Erik village. He was awarded the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy for this performance.
Shortly Moriarty was also on the editorial board at the New York Quarterly. In the journal he published a number of poems.
Private Moriarty was married three times; with his first wife, the Frenchwoman Françoise Martinet, with whom he was married 1966-1978, he has a child. His next marriage with Anne Hamilton Martin (1978-1997) and Suzana Cabrita (1998-1999) failed. Parallel to his marriages had Moriarty a relationship with his manager, Margaret Brychka which escalated in November 2000, when Moriarty was arrested briefly in Vancouver, after he had beaten Brychka in a bar.
Today, Michael Moriarty lives near Maple Ridge in Canada's British Columbia, and is more prevalent as a jazz pianist in Michael 's Pub in New York in appearance.
His conservative utterances directed vehemently against Islam:
