Bronislav Poloczek

Bronislaw Poloczek ( born August 7, 1939 in Sucha Gorna, Poland, † March 16, 2012 in Prague) was a Czech actor of Polish origin.

Biography

Poloczek was born in 1939 in Sucha Gorna ( Horni Sucha today ), which belonged to Poland at that time. He attended the Polish school, later in Orlová the Polish school. He was an actor at the 1956 Polish-language Těšínské Divadlo (Teschen Theatre) in Český Těšín. He studied at the Brno JAMU in drama and graduated in 1961 his studies. He then worked ibid at theaters, in Mladá Boleslav, Pardubice, Liberec and Prague. Since 1988 he was a member of the ensemble of the Národní Divadlo ibid. Poloczek was seen in films and television series, known is his role as captain Ořech in černí baroni especially in the Czech Republic. He died after a long illness.
