Bruce Jones (comics)

Bruce Jones is an American comic book and screenwriter.

Jones's work as an author began in 1970 in New York City, where he drew and wrote the lyrics for the comic book Web of Horror, after which he wrote the lyrics for the booklets Creepy and Eerie Horror comics. It was followed by Marvel Comics for episodes of Ka - Zar and Conan the Barbarian. In 1982 he formed with his wife April Campbell, a writing team. It published the book series Twisted Tales, Alien Worlds, Somerset Holmes and Silverheels according to their scenarios. From 1986, the couple produced screenplays for television, including episodes of The Hitchhiker and the animated series by Dennis comics by Hank Ketcham.

1986 Jones wrote the lyrics for Richard Corbens miniseries RIP in Time. In the early 1990s he wrote the scenario for the Flash Gordon newspaper comics. In 2001 he wrote the lyrics for the Hulk comic series.
