Bruno Liberda

Bruno Liberda ( born February 17, 1953 in Mödling near Vienna) is an Austrian composer.

Life

Liberda began his musical training while still in high school with Alfred Uhl at today's University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He then studied composition with his most important teachers novel cover -Ramati, cello with Tobias Kühne and electroacoustic music with Dieter Kaufmann. He received scholarships to several European studios for electronic music ( among other things works in Oslo on the first Buchla synthesizer hybrid in Europe); Computer music courses at the University of Urbana -Champaign, USA ( Kyma ) gets twice the Rome scholarship, Sandoz Award, among others Awards, a time he lived in London, Rome and New York.

Liberda teaches electronic music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Guest lectures he held in Greece ( Ionian University ), Holland ( the Berlage Institute Amsterdam ), France ( Paris CCMIX ) and Rome.

Work ( previously 5 order operas, ballets 3 ) at the opera houses in Frankfurt, Bonn, Karlsruhe, Amsterdam and others; at the Burgtheater in Vienna, Marstalltheater Munich, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Bern, Berliner Ensemble, the Vienna Konzerthaus, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Zurich, Rome, New York and more

He is the first (1977 ) brings with Valse triste electronic music at the Vienna State Opera to the performance.

Liberdas music is marked by a fascination with the definition HOENE Vronsky 's ( Music is the Physicalization of himself lying in the sounds of intelligence) to get through the fusion of traditional instruments with the electronic equipment of the 3rd millennium to the track. His scores, often process-oriented result, nonlinear composing, are found in the tension between traditional notation, optical stimulation and the integration of graphic and verbal working drawing - an attempt to describe sound right.
