Brusno, Poland

Brusno [' brusnɔ ] ( German Brutzen ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the country belongs to the municipality Połczyn -Zdrój ( Bad Polzin ) in the powiat Świdwiński.

Geographical location

Brusno is located about six kilometers southeast of Połczyn -Zdrój in 125 meters above sea level in the earlier so-called " Pomeranian Switzerland ". The eastern boundary of the municipality by the Dębnica ( Damitz ) is located in the northeast of present-day landscape parks " Drawski Landscape Park " is formed, which is also the boundary between the powiat Świdwiński and the powiat Szczecinecki. Brusno is connected by road with Połczyn -Zdrój and Czaplinek ( Tempelburg ).

History

Brusno was formerly an allodial manor and peasant village to which the manor Hagen Horst ( until 1862 Glassworks, today Polish Kocury ) is one that came into the possession of the family of Hagen 1862. The sprawling, 2198 -acre field Mark offered with its meadows and pastures good conditions for intensive dairy farming. The Schampsee and Karzinsee could be a rewarding fishing. The manor Brutzen ( 653 acres ), was formerly Hans Hübner, and Erwin Hoesen was the owner of the manor Hagen Horst.

From 1772 to 1816 belonged to Brutzen West Prussia and then came up with big Poplow ( Popielewo ) to the Duchy of Pomerania. For centuries Brutzen in possession of the von Manteuffel before then until 1945 had constantly changing owners.

In 1925 lived in the village of 780 inhabitants, in 1939 there were still 655 Until 1945 the village to the official and the civil registry district Poplow belonged in the Court House area Bad Polzin. Last German mayor was Robert Wax, last Chief Administrator Willi wax and last registrar William Scheffler.

On 4 March 1945, the Red Army invaded Brutzen and Hagen Horst. The places were Polish, and the ancestral population was expelled. Today Brusno is a district of Gmina Połczyn -Zdrój.

Church

Brutzen had no church of their own. Kirchdorf was (large) Poplow ( Popielewo ), whose parish case Poplow ( Popielewko ) Brutzen with Hagen Horst ( Kocury ) and also Kollatz ( Kołacz ) with New Kollatz ( Kolaczek ) and Nemrin ( Niemierzyno ) belonged. This Brutzen was the church Belgard county in Pomerania church in the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union assigned. Today Brusno lies in the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) of the Polish Protestant Church of the Augsburg ( Lutheran ) denomination.

School

1928 taught in the two classes of elementary school teachers William Zanders and Herbert cumin 40 boys and 31 girls. The school is also used at the present time.
