Bryophyllum fedtschenkoi

Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi Habitus.

Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi is a plant of the genus Kalanchoe in the family Crassulaceae ( Crassulaceae ). The species is named after the Russian Boris Fedchenko ( 1872-1947 ).

Description

The multi-year, completely bald, dense shrubs with initially prostrate, creeping branches that are erect later, reach stature heights up to 50 inches. The roots are stiff and 20 to 30 inches long. The dense, oval to oblong, flat, fleshy, bluish leaves sitting at 1-6 millimeters long stems. They are 1.5 to 5 inches long and 1 to 2.5 inches wide. The leaves are notched brown in the lower part. In the notches sometimes form leaf buds. The inflorescence is 15 to 20 inches high. The hanging, brown pink flowers are tubular and up to 2 inches long.
