Brzeżno Łyńskie

BrzeĹşno Łyńskie [ bʐɛʐnɔ wɨɲsk ʲ ɛ ] ( German: Persing ) is a village in the Polish Warmian -Masurian the river all and belongs to the urban and rural community Nidzica. It belonged from 1975 to 1998 for the Province of Olsztyn.

Geographical location

BrzeĹşno Łyńskie just northeast of town Nidzica ( Neidenburg ) and southeast of Olszytnek ( Hohenstein ) on Jezioro BrzeĹşno ( Big Persingsee ). The Polish national road 58 which connects Olsztynek ( Hohenstein ) with Szczytno ( Ortelsburg ), Pisz ( Johannesburg ) and Szczuczyn leads in Selwa ( Sellwa, 1938-45 Sellwen ) three kilometers north at the place over. Rail connection is via Olsztynek to the state railway line 216 of Działdowo ( Soldau ) to Olsztyn ( Olsztyn ) about Olsztynek.

History

The place name BrzeĹşno (with or without additional supplementary ) comes in Poland more than thirty times.

Our village was first mentioned in documents in 1372.

By 1945, Persing was a place in the district of Osterode in East Prussia in the district of Olsztyn the Prussian province of East Prussia. After 1945 the now BrzeĹşno Łyńskie place indicated part of the urban and rural community Nidzica ( Neidenburg ) in Nidzicki powiat ( county Neidenburg ) in the Warmia - Mazury and is now 89 inhabitants.
