Btooom!

Btooom! ( in the original Japanese BTOOOM! ) is a manga series of the Japanese signatory Jun'ya Inoue. It is published in Japan since 2009, has been translated into several languages ​​and adapted as an anime. The work is classified in the genres of action and science fiction.

Content

In his life, the 22 -year-old Ryota Sakamoto (坂 本 竜 太) has achieved little: he is unemployed and lives with his mother. In the online game Btooom! but he is one of the best in the world. In the fight game is about to defeat the enemies with bombs and evade even the attacks of others. Ryota belongs to one of the most successful teams. But one day he finds himself on a tropical island again, without knowing how he got there. Other share his fate, such as the 15 -year-old Himiko (ヒミコ), which is woman in the online game Ryōtas. These must now participate in a real version of the online game, each bombs and an implant has received to locate with the aim to kill each other, since you must leave the island until you have collected seven implants, your own included.

The series first appeared in the manga magazine Weekly Comic Bunch of Issue 29 (19 June 2009) until its setting with issue # 39 (27 August 2010) of the publisher. Then moved the series into the successor magazine Monthly Comic @ Bunch, has been published since 21 January 2011. ( Tankōbon ) published in twelve collected volumes so far: The chapters were also so far ( as of November 2013 ). An English translation appears in Yen Press, a French Glénat. Anime adaptation

The studio Madhouse produced in 2012 under the direction of Kotono a Watanabe twelve episode anime television series based on the manga. The screenplay was written by Yosuke Kuroda and the character design designed Takahiro Kishida. For the artistic director Anna Oizumi was responsible.

The music of the series composed Keiji Inai. Was used for the opening credits the song No Pain, No Game of Nano, for the last episode, however Exist (エグジスト) of Nano. The Broadcast were underlaid with Aozora of May'n in the last episode with the song No Pain, No Game.
