Buccopharyngeal membrane

The pharyngeal membrane ( membrana stomatopharyngealis ) is a tender partition between the mouth bay and foregut in the early embryonic development in vertebrates. It consists only of ectoderm and endoderm, thus has no mesodermal intermediate layer. She tears in the human embryo already towards the end of the third week, and the connection is made between the oral cavity and the rest of the digestive system.
