Book box Berg ( Czech Bučina ) is a wooded mountain south of the district of Johann George Henneberg city in western Saxon Erzgebirge, which is 973 m high. Directly above its summit is the boundary between Saxony and the Czech Republic.

Northwest of the book box is the little mountain Kranichsee.

In winter, a trail leads to the book box mountain and on over the Scheffelberg of Henneberg in towards the border. On a clear day offers from the book box mountain a broad view of the Saxon- Bohemian Obererzgebirge.

To the west of the mountain, the carrying box ditch runs already on Czech territory.
