Budhia Singh

Budhia Singh (* 2002 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa ) is an Indian long-distance runner. He is the youngest distance runner in the world.

Budhia ran on 1 May 2006 for a distance of 65 km at a stretch from the Jagannath Temple in Puri to Bhubaneswar in about seven hours. He played all the way to the " Resilience " without drinks and food. He has made it so that in the Indian Limca Book of Records. At age four he has already run six half marathons. He has been since his second year of Biranchi Das, who had adopted him trained. On 14 April 2008, the 40 - year-old coach before his training ground in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, shot down and died.

On 8 May 2006, the government has ordered that Budhia for health reasons no longer allowed to run until 2013.
