Bulanık

Bulanık (Kurdish: Kop ) is a town and a district in the eastern Turkish province of Muş. Bulanık lies to the east of the province and is bordered to the north by the province of Erzurum and Bitlis to the south.

The city has 20,889 and the county of 84 430 inhabitants ( 2008). With 1689 km ² Bulanık is the largest county in the province. Bulanık is a district since 1927. From 1884 to 1927 Bulanık was part of the Bitlis vilayets.
