Bulthaup is a German kitchen furniture manufacturer based in Aich ( at Bodenkirchen ) in Lower Bavaria.

History

A native of East Westphalia Martin Bulthaup founded in 1949 " Martin Bulthaup furniture factory " in Bodenkirchen near Landshut. In 1951 he began the production of kitchen buffets and sold them by horse and wagon.

In 1974, before the bulthaup kitchen program Concept 12. At the beginning of the eighties, it was decided to combine the divisions of development, production and management in one place, in Aich. At the same time Gerd Bulthaup took over the company. In 1982 the Food System "system b".
