Bumpety Boo

Bumpety Boo (Japaneseへーい!ブンブーHei! Bumbu ) is an anime television series that was produced from 1985 to 1986 by Nippon Animation in Japan. The series consists of 130 per 10 - minute episodes.

Content

The program depicts the adventures of a boys named Ken, who is a yellow talking car named Bumpety Boo, with whom he has since experienced his adventures. Both travel around the world to find Bumpetys mother. In the later episodes Dr. Monkey is constantly trying to kidnap the yellow car Bumpety. Finally, Ken and Bumpety Bumpetys find mother.

Publications

The anime was produced in 1985 by Nippon Animation and directed by Eiji Okabe and Kenjiro Yoshida. The character design was designed by Isamu Kumata and Susumu Shiraume, the artistic director had Setsuko Ishizu held. The series was first broadcast on April 8, 1985 to April 3, 1986 by NHK in Japan.

In the early 1990s many VHS tapes of the program published by Saban Entertainment in English. Mid-90s the program was broadcast on Super RTL in Germany in 43 per 30 -minute segments. After a few repetitions on Super RTL and Fox Kids broadcast was completely discontinued in 2005 and since then no longer broadcast the series.

The music of the series was composed by Nobuyoshi Koshibe. The Japanese opening credits song is Boku wa Bumbu (ぼく は ブンブー), the Japanese credits title Ashita no Wonderland (あした の ワンダーランドAshita no Wandārando ), both of Shiori Hashimoto.
