Bunsen (crater)

Bunsen is an impact crater on the northwestern edge of the moon west of Oceanus Procellarum front page. To the southeast is the crater Lavoisier, in the west is of brown. The Wall of Bunsen is severely eroded. Inside Bunsen has the fault structures of a floor - fractured craters.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1964 by the German chemist Robert Wilhelm Bunsen.
