Burakcan Kunt (born 15 May 1992 Cologne ) is a German -Turkish football player who is under contract with the Turkish second division Balikesirspor since 2013.

Career

Clubs

As a youth player Kunt She started out at the clubs DJK TuS Lion and height house in Cologne in use, before joining the 1st FC Cologne. In the 2008 /09 season Kunt eventually moved to MSV Duisburg, for whom he first played in the Under-17 team and then in the U-19 team. 24 April 2010 Kunt was with the first team of MSV Duisburg his debut in German professional football. The both playing attacking midfielder, who was still eligible to play in the season 2010/ 11 for the A- juniors, came to the summer of 2011 to a total of seven appearances in the Bundesliga 2 and a game in the DFB Cup.

For Summer 2013, he joined the Turkish TFF 1 Lig newly promoted Balikesirspor.

National

Kunt is current U-19 national team of Turkey and was in the squad for the U-19 European Football Championships 2011 in Romania.

Others

Burakcan Kunt was accused in September 2011 to have mocked the victims of the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 with an entry on his Facebook page with the inscription " Mohammed Atta Airlines". Mohammed Atta was one of the leading players in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Kunt denied being the author of the entry and distanced from it, but took responsibility for his Facebook page Then Kunt was covered with a simplistic internal fine and a warning.
