Burgasbus

Burgasbus ( Bulgarian БургасБус ) is the largest transport company in the Southeastern Bulgarian town of Burgas and Burgas Province. He operates two trolleybus and a majority of bus services in the town of Bourgas and the province and is located in the public sector. In addition, he maintains regular bus service into several neighboring communities, and between the main towns and Burgas. Regional buses from Burgasbus also run regularly to Varna, Yambol, Russian and Elchowo. Current CEO is Petko Dragnew (July 2011).

Indicators

Burgasbus was founded in 1991 as the successor of Urban Transport Company Burgas, which existed from 1947 to 1991. The company operates 59 bus and two catenary bus routes. The Company also operates two bus stations in Burgas. The south bus station is next to the main train station and the city's port. The West Bus Station is located at the Old Railway Station in the district Wasraschdane. Burgasbus has over 850 employees. Chance Schaffner be used for ticket sales.

2005 twelve buses and cars from the Netherlands were purchased. The 2007 elected municipal authorities encourage the operation of Burgasbus, since Burgasbus was able to expand its fleet. Currently ( as of 2011), the operation has about 200 buses and trolleybuses. 2008 additional 20 used buses, trolley buses and cars with ten ten new TEDOM buses were purchased. Since 2010, there will be a development of the city line traffic and the renewal of the entire fleet with the support of the European Jaspers program. The project for integrated development of public transport is funded by a EU support in the amount of 70 million euros.

In 2010 the company generated a turnover of about 20.35 million leva, 2009, there were approximately 20.542 million leva.

Lines

Burgasbus operates within Burgas bus lines 4, 5, 8, 12, 12A, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 18A, 30, 32, 61, 62, 121, 209 and 211 as well as the overall management bus lines T1 and T2 ( " T "stands for trolley; bulgarian: тролейбус ). The company serves so that all parts of the city and suburbs of Burgas as well as almost any place in the Oblast Burgas.

Rolling stock

Burgasbus used in urban network following bus types: Chavdar 141, Chavdar 120, SG MAN, Mercedes -Benz 0405G, NEOPLAN N4015, Mercedes -Benz O345 Conecto, Setra SG219, NG MAN, MAN NL, Mercedes -Benz O405N, TEDOM C12G. The type Chavdar 120 has become the symbol of the street scene of Burgas there. The 20 buses of this type of Burgasbus are the only ones that were produced.
